i have seen various posts regarding customized frappuccino recipes that you can actually order at your nearest starbucks store (given that the season is right, since some recipes require certain syrups). i’ve been wanting to try a few of them and here is the first one: the butterbeer frappuccino.

i ordered the simplest variation of this drink. i got a tall caramel cream frappuccino with toffee nut syrup.
the resulting drink was something creamy and a little bit sweet due to the caramel and toffee nut syrup. once the drink melted a little bit, the sweetness became more tolerable and i liked it more.
would this be something i would order again? maybe. perhaps. if i wanted something that is not coffee based and in need of a sugar rush. 😉
